We observed irregularities in our downlinks metrics and upon analyzing them we arrived at the conclusion that the GS increased CPU consumption was starting to affect downlinks. The planned update for this maintenance addresses this, so we opted to deploy it a four hours early to avoid causing complications to users.

During this maintenance window, we will deploy a performance improvement to the Gateway Server component of The Things Stack Cloud. This update addresses the memory increase that has been observed recently and will improve overall stability.
The Gateway Server will be restarted as part of this update. Gateways will automatically reconnect after the restart, but you may experience brief connectivity interruptions during the maintenance window.
